What is FFU?

Fan filter unit structure
1.Housing
The FFU housing is made of galvanized steel, powder-coated steel, or stainless steel SUS 304.Thehousing material can be chosen according to customer's requirements
2.Fan
lt sucks and blows the air towards HEPA filter.
3.FFU Filter
The filter used for FFU is HEPA filter or ULPA filter.This is the most important part of FFU,which filters the air and creates a fresh and clean environment.
4.Controller switch
Fan filter unit is equipped with a 3-level switch for speed control, and on/off switch. There are 3levels of air velocity (low, medium, and high)
Fan filter unit working principle
● The air is pulled in from outside by the fan.
● Then it is forced through the HEPA filter.
● HEPA filter traps the dust, bacteria and airborne particles, the filtered air goes out.
● The fan filter unit is unducted. Most of the time, fan filter unit pulls air from the ceiling plenum,pulls it out before it goes to space
